INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA BY AQUACLOUD GMBH

This Privacy Policy is prepared in accordance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016 (hereinafter “GDPR”) and provides you with information regarding the processing of personal data carried out by Aquacloud GmbH through the website aquacloud.it.

WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS?

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the website collect certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g., IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the website, the URI – Uniform Resource Identifier – addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server – successful, error, etc. – and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment). Although this is information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, by its nature it could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.  

Regarding the processing of personal data connected to the submission of an application through the “Work with us” or “Contact us” sections of the website, your data will be processed based on your job application and/or contact request and will be kept until the expiry of the five-year statute of limitations referred to in Article 2949 of the Italian Civil Code, starting from the termination, for any reason, of the corporate relationship.

PURPOSES, LEGAL BASIS, AND RETENTION PERIODS

Website Management

We will process browsing data for:

  • technical maintenance of the website;

  • establishment of liability in case of hypothetical cybercrimes against the Website;

  • obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its correct functioning.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper use of the Website and preventing any possible cybercrime. We will retain this data for the period prescribed by the law currently in force.  

Management of Contact Requests

We will process the personal data contained in the Contact request for the time strictly necessary to manage the aforementioned request.

Job Application

Your data will be processed based on your job application and will be kept until the expiry of the five-year statute of limitations referred to in Article 2949 of the Italian Civil Code, starting from the termination, for any reason, of the corporate relationship.

How will we process your data?

The processing will be carried out using manual and automated systems and only by subjects authorized by law to perform these tasks. In the processing process, appropriate measures will also be used to ensure data confidentiality.

All collected and processed data may be communicated, exclusively for the purposes specified above, to:

  • entities that provide services for the management of the IT system;
  • Aquacloud offices.

Beyond the above, personal data is not subject to disclosure.

Where will we process your data?

We will process your data within the European territory and will not transfer it to countries outside the EU.

We have an obligation to respond to your requests to know how and why your data is processed; to correct incorrect data, integrate incomplete data, and update inaccurate data; if requested by you, to delete the data and to limit the processing; to provide you with the personal data concerning you in a commonly used and readable electronic format or to transmit it to another Data Controller indicated by you.
